Love for All Pets
Feathered, Finned, and Furred celebrates all pets big and small, domestic and exotic.
We consider a pet to be any animal who is (legally) brought into a home (inside or outside) for a non-utilitarian purpose. Whether that’s a cat, camel, cavy, or cockroach, we make adorable clothing, accessories, collectibles, and gifts for their owners and are working on creating fun accessories for the critters themselves.
The only type of pets that we do not feature on this site are poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigeons, emus, etc.), and that’s not because we don’t love them. We just love them too much to fit them on this site!
You’ll still see a few here mixed with other critters, but to share your love for your pet poultry, visit Feathered Farm Friends. For all other critters, you’ve come to the right place.
Celebrating and giving back to the animals who give us so much.
Our mission is to share cuteness, raise money for organizations that work with animals, and to advocate for the health and happiness of these amazing creatures who steal our hearts.
Pets do so much to enrich our lives, and we likewise need to do everything possible to enrich theirs.
Along with providing proper housing and care, we encourage pet owners to practice responsible sourcing, to adopt when possible, and to get their animals that they do buy from responsible breeders.
We are passionate about preserving domestic heritage breeds and support captive breeding of exotics to ensure that our passion for these unique animals does not destroy the species we love.
We are committed to preserving these incredible animals’ natural ecosystems to make sure these species always have a place in the wild as well as in our homes and hearts.
About the Artist
My name is Amanda Ann Larson. I am an artist and author with a menagerie of critters who live with me and my family on a small farm on beautiful Whidbey Island.
Over the decades, I have kept dogs, guinea pigs, a rabbit, hamsters, ferrets, a hedgehog, goats, reptiles, amphibians, fish, hermit crabs, several species of insects, and a wide variety of bird species.
I’ve had a deep lifelong passion for animals both in the wild and in our homes. I enjoy sharing stories about my babies and love hearing about other people’s pets. I became involved in pet art in a variety of forms because it gives us a chance to share our passion, stories, and memories of the special critters who add so much to our lives.
